Bar Uno

As the heart of the Ffriddoedd Site, Bar Uno provides a hub where you can relax and unwind whilst enjoying student friendly prices. The staff were as polite as expected and accommodating to any requests that were made.

The downsides to Bar Uno, however, is that its location can lead to it being extremely busy in late afternoons to the evening, meaning food can take over 45 minutes to be served. Moreover, the ticket system used when customers order food is flawed as wait staff often are unable to find who ordered what, leading to even more delays and incorrect orders being served.

Even though the portions and the prices of the food were excellent, the quality was average - exactly what you'd expect from a student hangout. With karaoke on Thursday nights, two pool tables and sports games being shown on their multitude of TV screens, there's almost always something to do.
