Located on Waterloo Street in lower Bangor, 1815 is a peaceful cafe a little way off the hustle and bustle of the high street. The interior was dark and cramped, the former due to the misfortune of the cafe's location in relation to natural sunlight, but the staff provided a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a quiet breakfast location, this place is one of your best choices.

The food however, left much to be desired. The poor quality of the sausages and bacon were disappointing, and the milkshakes tasted extremely artificial yet the generous portion sizes were what brought up the score of the price and the quality.

If it were between this place and any other in Bangor, it wouldn't be our first choice but it also wouldn't be our last.
